Bang, Blow and Bow: Exploring Instrument Sounds

90-minute workshop, including tour of house
£3.00 per child

Find out about different musical instruments and the sounds that they make. In this workshop students will find out about the different materials used to make instruments and how they are played. Students will look at a string instrument (including the Museum's harpsichord), a wind instrument, a wooden instrument, a metal instrument and percussion. They will hear music and create their own music, playing simple phrases together.
