Schools Learning Programme
See and hear history come alive
25 Brook Street was the home of composer George Frideric Handel between 1723 and 1759. Today Handel House is a historic house, live music venue and museum offering an insight into 18th century culture and music with a range of accessible events for diverse audiences.
The Schools Learning Programme at Handel House is designed to complement National Curriculum Programmes of study in Music, but there is also the opportunity for cross-curriculum work, notably with History, Literacy, RE, Drama and Art. Find out more by selecting one of the boxes below.
Composer-in-Residence
The Composer-in-Residence represents a unique opportunity for schools, providing musical expertise and skills to our workshops, while engaging our younger audiences and maintaining the tradition of composing and performing music inspired by Handel, his life and home.
