New CD release: Handel's Eight Great Harpsichord Suites HWV 426-433 recorded by Laurence Cummings at Handel House

In November 2008, Laurence Cummings made history by recording Handel's Eight Great Harpsichord Suites in Handel's own home at 25 Brook Street. The recording is a partnership between Handel House Museum and BBC Radio 3 and is released by SOMM. The CD is a wonderful opportunity to hear this intimate recording in the very rooms where Handel lived and worked. Read more...

Events

The Handel House Museum runs a lively series of events as part of its ongoing education programme, including family events, lecture-recitals, live music and special events. The Museum also puts on changing exhibitions allowing a fuller exploration of Handel and the Brook Street house.

Filming and Photography at Handel House

Filming and photography normally takes place on Mondays when the House is closed to the public. This is so that there is minimum disruption for our paying visitors.

To ensure that Handel House can try to accommodate your schedule, please inform Handel House well in advance of the dates you require. Enquiries should be made at least one month before you need to come to Handel House. Not every request can be accommodated at the specified day and time, although we will try our best to meet your needs.
