A performance by Flackton Duo of William Flackton’s three sonatas for the viola as well as works by A. Corelli, C. F. Abel and Handel, all of whom had possible connections with the Canterbury-based composer. William Flackton was the first English composer to write sonatas specifically for the viola. With Masumi Yamamoto (harpsichord) and Geoffrey Irwin (baroque viola).
