Hardly Handel: Stravinsky and the Perfect Instrument

Stravinsky said of the lute that he considered it to be ‘the perfect instrument.’ This recital explores some of the lute music Stravinsky knew and admired, featuring works by Francesco Da Milano, Pietro Paulo de Bologna and Albert De Rippe, along with a newly composed homage to Stravinsky for the lute.
