New Composer-in-Residence at Handel House

Handel House has chosen Mark Bowden to be its first ever Composer-in-Residence, a scheme which will continue to keep the House alive with musical creativity and performance, as it was in Handel's day over 300 years ago.

Bowden, a young up-and-coming composer will be in residence at the House over the coming year. During this time he will compose new works commissioned for the House, and run music-making events for visitors of all ages, using the House's history for inspiration such as the juxtaposition of Handel and Hendrix.

Please see our website for more information about the Composer-in-Residence scheme.
