Diamond Jubilee Pageant Picture Competition

Friday 1 - Saturday 30 June 2012

As part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee this year, Handel’s music played an important role in the celebrations of the Pageant on the River Thames on Sunday 3 June. Handel has long been associated with the Royal Family and his Water Music and Music for the Royal Fireworks will be performed as well as new works inspired by the Water Music.

Handel House Museum celebrates Handel’s contribution to the festivities with a picture competition for young children with St George's (Hanover Square) C of E Primary School. The winning pictures will be on display at Handel House throughout June.
